Isa Schulte Finds Community Through the Cumbres Teacher Preparation Program
Isa Schulte came to UNC from her home in Denver so she could pursue her passion of becoming a teacher. Once on campus, Schulte became highly involved in her community of future teachers through the Cumbres Teacher Preparation Program and other extracurriculars. Thanks to both her coursework and involvement in the Cumbres program, Schulte feels well-prepared for her career as a teacher after graduation.
Breaking Down Barriers for Prospective Teachers: El Oso Center
UNC has set the bar for educator preparation in Colorado for decades. Now, innovating how we provide access to high-quality education for those pursuing a career in teaching has been reinvigorated through the establishment of El Oso Center for Innovative Educator Preparation (El Oso Center).
